Racha Rkein holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Windsor and brings over nine years of experience supporting individuals through complex emotional and physical health challenges.
Racha specializes in helping individuals struggling with emotional eating, body image distress, disordered eating patterns, anxiety, and trauma. Her work is grounded in a trauma-informed, client-centred approach that integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and somatic-based practices. She has experience supporting clients through cycles of restriction, overeating, shame, and internalized weight stigma, and understands that eating-related challenges are rarely about food alone.
With a professional background in hospital and community mental health settings, Racha provides psychotherapy that considers the emotional, psychological, and physiological dimensions of care. She is particularly passionate about empowering clients to reconnect with their bodies, regulate emotional responses, and build self-compassion.
Informed by both clinical expertise and lived experience, Racha offers a warm and collaborative space where clients can explore the roots of their challenges and begin to move toward sustainable change, on their own terms.
